Lord,
You are indeed Lord over heaven and earth, more powerful and beautiful than anything I'll ever know or see. Help me to live like it. Help me, God. For without Your Son, I am nothing before You. Yet He gave Himself for me, and has sent Your Spirit to guide me. And now I can be called Your very own daughter. How greatly You have loved me!
God, help me to love You with all that I am and have; my heart hates the evil within it and yet refuses to recognize Your abundant forgiveness and grace that has forgiven me my wrongs and given me life. Yes, You've given me LIFE! What a beautiful, wonderful gift!
May I love You more than all the gifts You have given Me. May I remember that You gave even Your own Son for my sake. Indeed, You are both the Giver and the Gift. And for that, I shall thank You for all eternity!
You are Lord, You are God; I am not. Give me humility. Hold my heart.
Make it what You want it to be, that I may live a life that brings You glory!
