"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
- Matthew 5:9
"Therefore if you [Jews] are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering."- Matthew 5:23-24
"Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are."
- John 17:11
"I do not ask on behalf of these [disciples] alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and you in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that they world may know that you sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me."
- John 17:22-24
"Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house, and it fell - and great was its fall."
- Matthew 7:24-27
Paul
"But God has composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it."
- 1 Corinthians 12:24b-26
"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord..."
- Romans 12:9-11
"Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God."
- Romans 15:5-7
"But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices...
So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity...
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father."
- Colossians 3:8-9, 12-14, 16-17
James
"What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in in your members? You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel...do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God?"
- James 4:1-2, 4
Peter
"Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaint. As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."
- 1 Peter 4:8-10
"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you."
- 1 Peter 5:6-7
"Greet one another with a kiss of love."
- 1 Peter 5:14
John
"We love, because He first loved us. If someone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen."
- 1 John 4:19-20

God has granted peace between three of His daughters. Tonight, there is peace in this room between three sisters who had hurt each other and were apart from God.
He is faithful to forgive our sins! May we be faithful to do the same for one another when we are wronged!
Thank you, God, for this love!
